O verbo be tem as seguintes formas no presente e no passado:

 O verbo be é usado nas seguintes estruturas:
1. com um substantivo:
My mother is a teacher.
Bill Clinton was the president of the US.
2. com um adjetivo:
This soup is very tasty.
The children were good.
2.1 com a forma -ing para formar aspect continuous 
We were walking down the street.
